Hike to Rothley and Train Ride Back
November 18 @ 10:30 am - 5:30 pm
A hike to Rothley along the countryside near the GCR mainline, so steam trains will be visible passing through the countryside throughout the hike. We’ll stop for lunch around the Swithlands reservoir and catch a steam train back to Loughborough in the afternoon (the train fare will be £9).
Details of the hike to come but you should bring a packed lunch, some snacks and plenty of water to drink, as well as some layers as there may be a chilly wind and some suitable walking shoes (some paths may be muddy so trainers may not be ideal in some places)
