Visit to Crich Tramway Village

June 22 @ 9:35 am - 6:00 pm

Join us on a journey into the past with a trip to Crich Tramway Village, which faithfully reproduces an old-fashioned period street complete with old shops, a traditional pub and heritage trams to ride.

As well as this, there’ll be a short hike to a local beauty spot with panoramic views over the Peak District and exploring the woodlands on site. We’ll be having a picnic in the woods, so bring a packed lunch for that along with water to stay hydrated on what will likely be a warm day.

Entry to the museum is £23, however this gives you discounts to other attractions, free re-entry to Crich Tramway for a year and the ticket is cheaper if you’ve been to other attractions in the Peak District; see Tickets & Opening Dates – Crich Tramway Village for more details. Please bring along proof of visiting one of the attractions listed on their website for a discounted ticket. Also, we’ll be meeting at Loughborough station earlier to get a group ticket, so you can get a cheaper fare even if you don’t have a railcard (one of SSN committee will pay for this and you can transfer them ~£11 for your ticket) and a £2 bus fare between the train station and Crich Tramway village.

We should get back to Loughborough around 6pm, we hope to see you for a fun day will be out!
